Skilled Careers are currently working with a notable stone and tiling specialist who have a well respected reputation for delivering high quality interior and exterior projects in Central London.

This is a sub-contractor who works across Commercial, External, Hospitality and Residential sectors, they have worked alongside the likes of Kier, Wates, Berkeley and Galliford Try.

The company in question require a strong Sales Director who ideally has contacts and existing relationships in their target market (Kitchen, Flooring, Joinery and Fit Out) – to the high end hospitality and residential and commercial sectors in London.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with all stakeholders and close deals.
  • Be responsible for an annual budget of between £15m-£20m.
  • Work across circa 20 deals per year with a value range of £0.5m to £5m
  • Work alongside the Business Development Team, ensuring pipeline numbers and weighted values are tracking budget for VCP
  • Constantly be working to improve conversion ratio.

Must Have:

  • Proven track record of success in selling into the construction industry and winning large contracts.
  • High level of verbal communication skills and networking
  • Ability to develop long term customer relationships to create growth opportunities
  • Able to identify and qualify new business opportunities in line with our strategic plan
  • Present to all levels of seniority from individuals to groups

  • High levels of personal energy with the ability to work both independently and as part of a passionate dynamic team.
