Job Title: Delegate Sales Representative

Location: Canary Wharf, London (Hybrid working)

Pay: 14 - 16 per hour

Hours: Part-time or Full Time, 8am- 4pm/9am-5pm

Contract Details: Temporary, Full Time (3 months minimum)

Responsibilities:

  • Be the first touch point for potential delegates, creating a welcoming experience.
  • Focus on generating leads, primarily from warm contacts who have previously engaged.
  • Conduct majority of outreach through phone calls, ensuring meaningful conversations.
  • Follow up with engaging emails to solidify connections.
  • Manage accounts, maintaining relationships and staying proactive with communication.
  • Handle conference ticket sales.
  • Navigate both public and private sector processes, understanding that public can take a bit longer.
  • Own and maintain a dedicated spreadsheet for tracking all leads and interactions.

Experience/Skill Set Looking For:

  • Ideally, you have experience in events or marketing industries.
  • Background in delegate sales is a plus!
  • Familiarity with marketing and events companies will set you apart.
  • Strong communication skills and a knack for building relationships.
  • Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple leads efficiently.
