Senior Audio Visual Consultant

A new exciting opportunity has become available with a leading Engineering Consultancy, who are looking for a Senior Audio Visual Consultant to join a fast growing, innovative team, responsible for developing high-quality audio-visual systems for large-scale projects worldwide. This role will be working on large infrastructure projects as their projects include prestigious venues, major music events and residential.



Day to Day of the Role:

  • Design sound insulation and audio-visual systems, including large format LED screens and projection.
  • Create schematic designs to present innovative solutions to clients.
  • Work on sound system design, IPTV/Digital signage, presentation systems, AV control room systems, video production systems, integrated audio solutions, broadcast systems, and room control/booking systems.
  • Understand client AV requirements and produce a client brief.
  • Coordinate projects with the client team and maintain market knowledge of industry-leading technologies.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of computational design tools, including Revit.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in AV design process both independently and in line with RIBA design stages.
  • Proficiency in designing AV systems and AV infrastructure.
  • Ability to create AV system budgets and cost estimates.
  • Strong project coordination skills.
  • Up-to-date with market knowledge of industry-leading technologies.
  • Experience with computational design tools, including Revit, is highly desirable.
