Description

As Accounts Receivable Analyst, your key duties will include the following:

  • Collaborate effectively as part of a team.
  • Prepare manual invoices and credit notes for a designated group of clients.
  • Analyse sales contracts to extract and interpret billing details.
  • Configure invoicing data within the company's automated billing systems.
  • Record invoices and credit notes accurately in the accounts receivable ledger.
  • Address client and internal inquiries regarding billing and invoicing issues.
  • Oversee credit control processes for your assigned client portfolio.
  • Provide performance analytics and insights for your client portfolio.
  • Identify and define system data requirements to enable automated invoice generation.
  • Support the development and implementation of automation initiatives and process enhancements.
  • Assist with month-end reporting while identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements.
  • Perform additional tasks related to revenue and accounts receivable as needed.

Profile

A successful Accounts Receivable Analyst should bring the following:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a dynamic and high-pressure accounting environment, particularly during the busy invoicing periods at the start of each month.
  • Background in accounts receivable with a solid understanding of general accounting principles.
  • Knowledge of VAT is advantageous.
  • Strong technical skills, with the ability to navigate and utilise data across multiple internal systems effectively.
  • Proficient in Excel at an intermediate level.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring a high level of accuracy in all tasks.
  • Strong numerical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly organised, able to prioritise tasks efficiently, and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills to manage inquiries from clients and internal teams via email and phone confidently and professionally.
