Description
As Accounts Receivable Analyst, your key duties will include the following:
- Collaborate effectively as part of a team.
- Prepare manual invoices and credit notes for a designated group of clients.
- Analyse sales contracts to extract and interpret billing details.
- Configure invoicing data within the company's automated billing systems.
- Record invoices and credit notes accurately in the accounts receivable ledger.
- Address client and internal inquiries regarding billing and invoicing issues.
- Oversee credit control processes for your assigned client portfolio.
- Provide performance analytics and insights for your client portfolio.
- Identify and define system data requirements to enable automated invoice generation.
- Support the development and implementation of automation initiatives and process enhancements.
- Assist with month-end reporting while identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Perform additional tasks related to revenue and accounts receivable as needed.
Profile
A successful Accounts Receivable Analyst should bring the following:
- At least 2 years of experience in a dynamic and high-pressure accounting environment, particularly during the busy invoicing periods at the start of each month.
- Background in accounts receivable with a solid understanding of general accounting principles.
- Knowledge of VAT is advantageous.
- Strong technical skills, with the ability to navigate and utilise data across multiple internal systems effectively.
- Proficient in Excel at an intermediate level.
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring a high level of accuracy in all tasks.
- Strong numerical and problem-solving abilities.
- Highly organised, able to prioritise tasks efficiently, and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills to manage inquiries from clients and internal teams via email and phone confidently and professionally.
