I’m delighted to be assisting my client, a leading Lloyd’s of London Broker, with a vacancy in their IBA department. In this role, you will be a key member of the Finance department, primarily responsible for managing client and underwriter processes to ensure they run efficiently, with a focus on continuous improvement. Additionally, you will support various IBA activities, including cash posting and allocation, as well as resolving general queries. A strong background in IBA roles within the London insurance market is essential, along with a solid understanding of core processes - particularly the key payment types received and issued by an insurance broker.
Responsibilities
- Sending out monthly statements to clients/underwriters
- Resolve queries received from clients/underwriter
- Payments set up
- Cash posting and control of the cash book
- Client/underwriters payment reconciliation, allocation and matching
- Resolve aged cash breaks
- Recover outstanding cash payments
- Liaise with Technical Team to ensure processing queries are resolved
- Liaise with Claims Team to review and manage claims’ payment
Knowledge and Skills
- 3 years experience working in an IBA role
- Lloyd’s of London experience is advantageous
