Installation Technician - Gates and barriers

Overview

We are seeking a Service Technician with strong installation skills and experience in access control, turnstiles, and automatic doors. The ideal candidate will be highly experienced in using power tools, have a good understanding of DC electrical circuits and components, and possess a Gate Safe certification. This role will involve site surveys, attending installation meetings, and working with heavy equipment. Security clearances (SC level) and a CSCS card are required for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct installation and maintenance of portals, turnstiles, and access control systems
  • Perform site surveys and attend installation meetings
  • Utilize power tools and demonstrate a strong mechanical aptitude
  • Understand and work with DC electrical circuits and components
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure successful project completion
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in installation and maintenance of access control, turnstiles, and automatic doors
  • Security clearances (SC level) and CSCS card
  • Gate Safe certification is preferred

Day-to-day

As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining portals, turnstiles, and access control systems.
