About the Role:
As the Infrastructure Manager, you will take ownership of the end-to-end management of our IT infrastructure. This includes overseeing hardware, software, networking, cloud services, and security. You’ll play a pivotal role in driving projects, implementing best practices, and supporting the business’s growth through scalable and innovative technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the IT infrastructure team to deliver seamless support and operations.
- Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure systems, including on-premises and cloud-based environments.
- Ensure the security, scalability, and resilience of IT systems, minimizing downtime and risks.
- Oversee disaster recovery planning and business continuity processes.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to align IT infrastructure with business objectives.
- Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and procurement of IT resources.
- Monitor infrastructure performance and recommend improvements to optimize efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to keep the organization at the forefront of innovation.
About You:
We are looking for someone who brings a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a strategic mindset.
You could currently be a strong IT candidate looking to take on more responsibility and step up from an IT Administrator role.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure, including cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Strong knowledge of networking, servers, virtualization, and storage solutions.
- Familiarity with IT security protocols and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with ITIL frameworks and other industry standards (preferred).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, CCNA) are a plus
This is on site only in West London and NOT hybrid. You must be customer facing and possess excellent communication skills.
