This will particularly suit if you want structured career development, mentoring and exam support. This role currently gives no opportunity to move into a paraplanning within the next 3 years however if demands allow sooner, progression is always given to internal staff before external recruitment.
At the discretion of management, you will have the flexibility of working from home for a maximum of 2 days a week.

What you will do:
- Perform general back office duties
- Learn all firm processes and our 'client journey’, as well as all compliance requirements
- Keep our back-office system up to date
- IFA administration duties, not limited to:
- Prepare valuations and supporting documentation for client review meetings
- Perform fund switches and rebalances
- Prepare applications and supporting documentation for client new business
- Ensure all communications with the client is recorded accurately
- Upload new business proposals on to the system accurately and compliantly
- Handle day to day enquiries from clients, providers, advisers and paraplanners
What you will need:
- A minimum of B in Maths and English at GCSE (or equivalent)
- A 2:1 or above in a relevant subject (e.g. Maths, Finance, Economics)
- Excellent prioritisation skills to meet, if not exceed, deadlines
- The ability to manage expectations of all staff and clients
- A confident communicator
The offer:
- Basic annual salary will be dependent on experience - up to £28,000
- Normal working hours: 9am - 5.30pm (non contractual Friday finish at 5pm) with a 1-hour lunch break
- Holiday allowance of 23 days, increasing annually and capped 30 days (historically, the office also closes for 2 weeks at Christmas at management discretion)
- Employer pension contribution of 5% with salary sacrifice option
- Annual discretionary bonus (May) based upon company profits and individual performance
- Charitable Corporate support with 2 days going towards the same for each staff member
