Our client, a leading global financial institution, is looking for a Loan Administrator to join their Global Market Loans Operations team. As a Loan Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the Global Credit Trading desk and ensuring the smooth operations of loan trades across different product lines.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of cross desk trades, ensuring compliance with transfer, tax, and legal eligibility criteria.
  • Prepare and agree loan trade documentation with the trading desk, Legal, and clients.
  • Review documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with LMA trading terms and conditions.
  • Coordinate trade settlement with external counterparties and manage par asset inventory.
  • Interact with clients, both internal and external, managing expectations for trade settlement.
  • Report and escalate exceptions to senior management, while working closely with internal teams such as Loan Servicing, Loan Settlements, Legal, Compliance, and Tax.

Requirements:

  • A good understanding of the secondary loan trading market and Loan Market Association guidelines.
  • Proficiency with ClearPar tool.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Client-facing experience and ability to confidently conduct discussions with clients.
  • Ability to identify and escalate issues and work well in a team environment.
  • Excellent prioritisation and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and willing to take on additional responsibilities.
