I am currently recruiting for a leading Lloyd's Syndicate who are seeking a Senior Reinsurance Claims Specialist to join their expanding team!

If you're an experienced claims professional with experience handling Casualty Reinsurance claims, this is your chance to make a name for yourself in the market.

About the Role:

  • Effectively communicate with brokers, clients, and third parties to adjust claims according to company guidelines, authority limits, and regulatory requirements.
  • Represent the Syndicate in the market by attending meetings, supporting underwriters, and participating in industry events.
  • Provide guidance to Claims Adjusters, address issues, and escalate any necessary improvements to management.
  • Responsible for managing claims across different accounts and classes of business, utilising various platforms.
  • Keeping clients and brokers informed throughout the claim process is crucial, as is adhering to agreed upon terms and timelines.
  • Collaborating with actuaries and underwriters, as well as setting case reserves, will also be part of your role.
  • Investigating claims, ensuring policy conditions are met, and negotiating resolutions.
  • Work with brokers to address missing information and pursue recovery from third parties when necessary.

�? Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience with Quota Share, Clash, and XOL.
  • Someone wanting to make a name for themselves in the market.
  • Experience in all, if not most, of the following classes: Property, Casualty, and Marine.
  • Experience in handling casualty claims worldwide.
