Due to expansion and growth within their Technical team, a position for a Senior Ceded RI Technician has arisen.Your new roleYour new job working as a Senior Ceded RI Technician will report into the Ceded Re Recoveries Manager and take a proactive approach to all aspects relating to the Syndicate's reinsurance claims recoveries and premium payments. You will work closely with various teams across the company and establish a strong relationship with the group's reinsurance brokers. Duties will include managing all aspects of reinsurance purchased by the organisation, assisting in the quarterly reinsurance close as per the organisation's procedures manual and authoring claim and premium transactions on relevant systems. Other duties include supporting the Outwards Reinsurance team on the processing and transaction of complex RI risks.What you'll need to succeedYour previous experience working as a Senior Ceded RI Technician or Reinsurance Technician from a Broker or Insurer will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will have an ability to fully support the reinsurance recoveries manager in all aspects of the organization's reinsurance processes, an ability to teach and instruct fewer senior members of the reinsurance team, working knowledge of all non-marine and marine classes of business, working knowledge of all non-proportional, proportional, and facultative reinsurance processing.What you'll get in returnYou will receive a competitive salary depending on experience and how flexible working is available.
