Are you a Ticketing & Aviation Manager looking for a new challenge? A rare opportunity to work with an award-winning tour operator. The main role responsibilities will be to support the UK Tour Operation in managing IATA Ticketing function and coordinating delivery of the company's ongoing Aviation fulfilment strategy.

Managing:

X2 Ticketing / Aviation Supervisor / Executive

The Job:

  • Managing the ticketing function, as part of a team.
  • Assisting the Finance and Commercial teams in fulfilling IATA BSP procedures and reporting including ticketed reconciliation.
  • Assisting the Finance and Commercial teams in dealing with Agency Credit/Debit memos.
  • Managing in the implementation of fares rules and auto ticketing through enhanced technology via the companies ISELL and Galileo platforms.
  • Co-ordinating Aviation Revenue Protection procedures.
  • Ensuring the business is committed to all mandatory Ticketing deadlines and fulfilment flows.
  • Assisting with the UK/European Staff Travel Policy.
  • Supervising Call Centre/Commercial queries in relation to pricing/time limits and deadlines.
  • Supplying monthly Ticketing KPI's.
  • Championing the Ticket Function as part of the businesses UK Emergency Response procedure.
  • Co-ordinating the Travelport GDS queue maintenance and direction.
  • Maintenance and assistance for the UK Air Allocation Programme.
  • Coaching/training of Ticketing Procedures to the wider team.
  • Assisting in managing the Airline Schedule Change procedure with UK Operations.
  • Participating in the Product/Commercial Team Briefings and Weekly Meetings

Skills Required:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in the travel industry is desirable.
  • Proficient in the Galileo GDS system is essential.
  • Qualified to BA Stage 1 and 2 Fares and Ticketing an advantage.
  • Able to work weekends and travel overseas when required.
  • Excellent Time Management.
  • Self-driven
  • Able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Analytical with a diligent approach to problem solving.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills for training purposes.

The Package:

  • Salary Circa £40,000
