Role Overview: Our client are seeking an experienced Account Manager to manage and grow existing client accounts, identify upselling opportunities, and develop new business. The ideal candidate will have experience in software sales, a strong track record in client management, and the ability to deliver on sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Business Development: Upsell and cross-sell SaaS solutions, including negotiating multi-year deals.
- Lead Generation: Identify and qualify new business opportunities.
- Sales Strategy: Plan and execute sales activities to meet targets.
- Presentations & Proposals: Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and contracts.
- Sales Reporting: Track and report on sales activity.
- Market Research: Monitor competitors and market trends.
- Customer Service: Ensure client satisfaction and address any concerns.
Key Competencies:
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Goal-oriented with a results-driven approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong technical understanding of SaaS and IT systems (Azure, AWS, etc.).
Required Experience:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales, preferably within the software industry.
- Proven success in client account management and business development.
- Experience with presentations, proposals, and sales contracts.
Desirable:
- Experience in sectors like Banking, Telecoms, Retail, or Healthcare.
- Familiarity with cloud solutions and IT infrastructure.
Personal Profile:
- Self-driven, professional, and adaptable.
- Willing to travel for client meetings within the UK.
