Summary

This is a key role in the Managed Payments Sales team taking responsibility for self generating and closing new business opportunities Forging close working relationships with Financial Institutions and developing Professional Partnerships is vital to this role in order to drive revenue and growth in the Managed Payments sector in accordance with our strategic and financial targets.

Full product and sales training will be given to the successful candidate.

Main duties of this role include:

Achieve a defined quarterly and annually sales revenue target.

Self generate own network of key introducers

To support Commercial Director to increase revenue from existing high value partnerships

Provide accurate weekly and monthly forecasting and activity reporting.

Key responsibilities;

  • Confident delivering presentations to audiences from users to Board Level with ability to adapt communication and pitch appropriately.
  • Ability to understand, interpret and document customer requirements.
  • Identify and build new relationships over the phone and face to face
  • Confidently hold web based meetings/demo’s.
  • Ensure that all sales paperwork is complete, clear and accurate
  • Report to Sales Director, key sales metrics including weekly forecast, pipeline activity and key deals on a weekly basis
  • Proactive contribution & feedback to improve the success of future marketing campaigns
  • Leveraging and utilising industry intelligence to add value when engaging with prospects
  • identifying and engaging with relevant influencers to achieve end goals
  • Applying appropriate experience to determine the right activities, tactics and channels to reach the required audience.
  • Identify cross sell opportunities from the BT suite of products
  • Flexibility is a must to attend meetings across the Country

Experience required

  • At least 1 years’ experience in sales with demonstrable results
  • Excellent understanding of business finance, banking processes and ideally the Bacs Rails
  • Credible in representing the company to customers and other stakeholders.
  • Highly numerate and articulate.
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Is competitive, results- driven and motivated
  • Work under pressure to achieve tough targets
  • Proactive with lots of initiative
  • A strong team player
  • Ideally have experience in a similar sales role with proven success
  • A good knowledge of Word, Excel & customer management systems.
