THE COMPANY
We are partnering with a rapidly expanding financial services provider to find a dynamic and commercially focused Head of Acquisition. Joining their ambitious Commercial team, you will play a pivotal role in driving customer growth across all distribution channels, including owned channels and strategic Co-Brand partnerships. This role offers an excellent opportunity to have significant influence and ownership within a fast-paced, growing credit card programme.
THE ROLE
As the Head of Acquisition, your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and implementing a comprehensive customer acquisition strategy across multiple distribution channels.
- Advocating internally for acquisition initiatives, securing investment, and ensuring successful delivery.
- Identifying and executing new opportunities to exceed customer acquisition targets, including new marketing channels and strategic partnerships.
- Owning and overseeing the Financial Promotions approvals process to ensure full regulatory compliance.
- Reporting performance outcomes and forecasting acquisition plans, acting as the senior spokesperson to internal and external stakeholders, including senior management and executives.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Proven marketing experience within a regulated industry, preferably consumer credit, with a strong understanding of Financial Promotions regulations.
- Highly analytical, with a proven ability to utilise diverse data sources (e.g., digital analytics, channel metrics, risk data) to drive strategic decisions.
- Expertise across multiple marketing channels (aggregators, digital marketing, display, search, social) and experience in measuring and optimising channel performance.
- In-depth knowledge of application processes and conversion optimisation strategies.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing and communicating effectively at all organisational levels.
- Experience in mentoring and developing team members.
- Strong commercial acumen, with the capability to forecast account growth, manage substantial budgets, and coordinate third-party relationships.
- Flexibility and resilience, comfortable operating in a dynamic environment with shifting business priorities.
