Reporting to: Head of Corporate Banking Department

Relationship Manager - What You'll be Doing:

The bank offers wholesale banking services and products, you will be Relationship Manager of wholesale banking customers including large corporations and financial institutions.

  • Develop relationships with MLAs or counterparties across EMEA loan markets.
  • Conduct customer/counterparty due diligence including KYC/onboarding and ongoing risks monitoring and reviewing including AML, Sanctions, and other Adverse Media screening.
  • Independently prepare and submit credit applications for syndicated and bilateral loan transactions.
  • Oversee the execution of loans and provide post-lending management to maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer data within the bank’s systems.
  • Assist team head in market research and new product sponsoring.
  • Assist team head with other ad-hoc tasks such as drafting policy and procedure and meeting minutes.

Relationship Manager - The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English and Mandarin
  • Client relations and credit experience in EMEA syndication loan markets (primary and secondary).
  • Strong understanding of Loan Market Association (LMA) terminology and practices.
  • Related working experience in UK’s corporate banking industry.
  • Excellent communication skills to ensure complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to varied audiences.
  • Enthusiastic self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and flexibility to handle new responsibilities in a diversified environment.
