Position OverviewAs the National Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving the growth and success of the brand within your allocated customers in the 'Home' channel. This pivotal role requires a strategic mindset, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to build and maintain key stakeholder relationships. You will be the primary point of contact for your customers, leading negotiations, and ensuring the brand's visibility, promotions, and listings are best-in-class.Responsibilities
  • Own the P&L for your allocated customers, including distribution, executions, turnover, margin mix, sales, and profit
  • Lead all customer negotiations and escalate issues when necessary
  • Build and influence key stakeholder relationships to secure optimal brand visibility, promotions, activations, and listings
  • Continuously monitor and analyse market trends, competition, pricing, portfolio, online placements, and promotions to develop winning customer plans
  • Adapt and course-correct strategies when needed to achieve financial targets
  • Manage cost planning and notifications for customer projects and activities
  • Forecast and report on customer performance, identify risks and opportunities, and improve forecast accuracy
  • Embrace the evolving customer mix within the @ home channel
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in retail, discounter, and E-commerce channels
  • Strong understanding of the UK grocery landscape
  • Ownership mentality and ability to deliver results and identify new opportunities
  • Emotionally intelligent with excellent cross-functional collaboration skills
