Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for nurturing existing business relationships? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where your stakeholder management and analytical skills can make a real difference? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join an established team as a Supplier Relationship Manager, in order to service client accounts efficiently and to the highest standards.  You will be the driving force behind communicating with a network of suppliers, maximising value and effectiveness from a cost, SLA, support and performance perspective. You will be heavily involved in monitoring and reporting on this area of the business, helping to create long-term strategy with the senior leadership team. In addition to this, you will be leading the wider team on a day-to-day basis. Duties include:
  • Supplier growth and management, developing and executing strategies to enhance the quality and breadth of suppliers by proactively sourcing and onboarding new suppliers
  • Cultivating strong, lasting relationships with suppliers including negotiating terms of business and addressing any complaints
  • Gaining a deep understanding of client needs and translating them into effective strategies to ensure suppliers can fulfil the workload
  • Leading, managing, motivating and training the team, ensuring database accuracy and efficient handling of enquiries
  • Developing and analysing management information to ensure workflow meets SLAs, identifying trends, providing insights, and driving continuous improvement
  • Collaborating with a variety of internal stakeholders and teams
  • Working within compliance and industry regulations
You will have:
  • Proven experience managing and nurturing third party relationships, including contract negotiation and supplier relationship management skills
  • Excellent team leadership and management skills
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in database management and reporting, experience of MI reporting
