Our client, one of the largest FMCG businesses across Asia, are looking to recruit an experienced, industry-connected Business Development/Account Manager to help their launch in the UK. Working remotely (full autonomy over own diary, with the expectation to meet with clients over the UK over video/in person), this is an incredible opportunity for the right candidate.Our client have been established for over 50 years and boast an incredibly popular product range of over 100 different snacks - they have also breached worldwide consumer markets and export to over 100 countries. Due to their continued success/growth, they are actively seeking the perfect candidate to help them to break into the major UK Grocers, via both Private Label and Branded. In a nutshell, your responsibilities will include:- Developing new business with major UK Grocers/Supermarkets- Managing/owning client relationships once closed- Exceeding sales/revenue targets- Upselling different products in to existing clients- Identifying potential areas for future growth- Conducting regular business reviews to ensure client satisfaction/growth- Completing competitor analysis to ensure at the forefront of marketIn order to be considered for the role, it is ESSENTIAL that you have the following:- Experience of developing new business/owning client relationships within the UK Food Retail/Grocery market- Incredible network/black book of connections to potentially tap into- Proven track record of exceeding sales/revenue targets- Genuine desire to earn additional money in bonuses/commission- Confident/consultative approach when liaising with external client base- Fantastic communication skills- Fun, sociable personalityAlthough not essential by any means, any candidates with experience of working with a different culture of employee/client (Asian in particular), are urged to apply!In addition to a very competitive basic salary, our client are also offering the following:- 30% annual bonus- Car / Car Allowance- Full autonomy to manage own diary (working remotely / meeting with clients, etc)- Regular all-expensed trips to HQ (Asia)Our client are looking to move very quickly on this (although will of course wait a notice period for the right candidate), so any interested candidate(s) are urged to apply at their earliest convenience!
