We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Bartender to join the Gore Hotel team. Bar 190 is the iconic bar serving fiery cocktails, remarkable whiskies, delicious gins and an extensive list of spirits all in a setting with a history of its own. Original wooden panelling and lavish furnishings dominate the bar, and the walls, decorated with the images of the famous Rolling Stones album launch party, give off a distinct rock 'n' roll vibe.

Family-style management and a caring and considerate approach to our staff are the philosophies at The Franklin, The Gore, and The Pelham (part of Starhotels Collezione).

The Collezione consists of the groups top thirty luxury five- and four-star hotels, located in the heart of New York, Paris, London, Milan, Florence, Vicenza, Saturnia, Rome, Trieste, and Venice. Each hotel has a distinct charm, embodying the local culture while sharing the Italian spirit, creativity, passion, and high level of service that encapsulate the whole group.

The responsibilities of the role include:

  • Creating atmosphere & great guest experiences
  • A good knowledge in classic cocktails & spirits
  • Maintaining expected standards & quality controls
  • Training floor staff on beverage knowledge
  • Keen organisation & high cleanliness standards
  • Influencing new bar menu items
  • Keeping up to date with the industry
  • Keep up to date on food & drinks matrix
  • Communicating drinksavailabilityto floor staff

The successful Bartender will be able to demonstrate:

Great organization and communication skills

Excellent customer service skills and attention to details

Previous experience in a similar role is necessary and experience working in boutique hotels would be advantageous
