- Preparing and serving a range of beverages—both classic and custom cocktails—according to recipes and customer preferences.
- Ensuring consistent quality and presentation to maintain high standards.
- Greeting guests warmly and engage with them in a friendly, approachable manner.
- Taking orders, offering recommendations, and creating a welcoming environment that encourages return visits.
- Managing stock levels for liquors, mixers, garnishes, and supplies, assisting with restocking and tracking.
- Reporting inventory needs, shortages, or discrepancies to the Bar Manager.
- Accurately processing transactions through the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Handling cash and credit transactions responsibly, balancing the cash drawer at the end of each shift.
- Maintaining a clean, organised bar area and following all health and safety regulations.
- Ensuring all bar tools and glassware are sanitised and comply with local laws for age verification and alcohol service.
- Previous bartending experience preferred; mixology training is a plus.
- Solid understanding of cocktails, wines, beers, and liquors.
- Excellent communication, attention to detail, and a customer-focused approach.
