As the company continues to expand, their vision is to transform one of their flagship brands into a more fashion-focused, entry-level label, growing revenue significantly over the next few years. The team is undergoing exciting changes, and transitioning production to new regions.

Your New Role The Accounts Receivable Assistant will become an integral member of a newly formed European finance team, contributing to the financial success of a rapidly growing branded fashion business. The role offers an excellent opportunity to work across UK and European entities in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, follow up, and allocate payments from a wide European customer base.
  • Follow up on overdue debtor amounts to secure payments.
  • Research and resolve payment discrepancies, create payment plans, and monitor compliance.
  • Respond to and manage customer queries effectively.
  • Generate weekly and monthly accounts receivable reports.
  • Monitor outstanding balances, overdues, credit limits, and debtor days.
  • Conduct customer master data activities.
  • Provide backup for bank statement postings and other finance-related tasks.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Proven prior experience in Accounts Receivable.
  • Strong management skills with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting software, Microsoft Excel, and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to drive change and enhance efficiency in a fast-paced environment, comfortable in a smaller organisation.
  • Experience in the European market with fluency in German or French.
  • Background in the fashion industry.
