Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk (12-Month Fixed-Term Contract)

Location: Hybrid (2 days per week in office, 3 days remote)Salary: £32,000 per annumWorking Hours: 9:15 AM - 5:30 PM (core hours 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM)

Role Overview:We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role will support two financial functions, ensuring smooth financial operations. The ideal candidate will have strong multitasking skills, attention to detail, and experience in finance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process invoices, supplier setups, and staff expenses

  • Perform bank reconciliations and manage supplier accounts

  • Handle monthly manual payments (payroll, HR-related transactions)

  • Provide support across three funds with varying financial sizes

  • Multitask between various activities throughout the day, ensuring accuracy and efficiency

  • Collaborate with both internal and external teams to support financial operations

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience in accountancy, including debits/credits, invoice processing, and reconciliations

  • Part-qualified AAT (minimum Level 2)

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure

  • Proactive attitude with the ability to work independently

  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment

  • Comfortable with hybrid working arrangements and flexible hours
