Robertson Bell are supporting this organisation to recruit an Interim Part Time Accounts Payable Officer, on an initial three-month temporary contract, with possibility for permanent employment.
This is a great opportunity to join a small but very passionate team of individuals who are committed to making a difference to young lives across the world. This is a part time role, working a total of 28 hours a week, which can be completed on a hybrid working pattern, with the head office based in Central London.
The key responsibilities for the Interim Part Time Accounts Payable Officer include:
- Leading on the weekly payment runs, maintaining the Purchase and Sales ledger.
- Ensuring prepayments, accruals, and journals are correctly posted to SAGE 50 at month end.
- Reconciling the bank accounts and updating the cashbook.
- Allocating payments in line with unrestricted and restricted funding.
This is a great ‘steppingstone’ for someone who wishes to build on their accounting experience, in a fast-paced environment with access to a wide variety of responsibilities and processes.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Recent experience working in a similar role, specialising in Accounts Payable.
- Experience using SAGE 50, 100 or 200 and intermediate MS Excel skills.
- Familiarity of month end processes, including prepayments, accruals, and journals.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a positive working attitude.
