Description

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you'll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the broader finance team. Your responsibilities will include:

• Processing and reconciling invoices with purchase orders and expense claims.
• Managing payment runs and ensuring timely supplier payments.
• Responding to supplier and internal queries promptly and professionally.
• Assisting in month-end close processes, including reconciliations.
• Supporting process improvement initiatives and compliance with internal controls.

Profile

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• Experience: Proven experience in Financial Services, in accounts payable or a similar finance role.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organisational abilities, and proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with financial regulations and best practices.
• Ambition: A desire to progress professional candidates studying towards AAT, ACCA, or CIMA are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
