Our client, a well established and reputable Lloyd's insurance broker based in London (City), are looking to recruit an Accounts Payable Technician to work on hybrid/contract basis between home and the office. The purpose of the role is top provide an efficient, quality, accurate and timely accounting service on behalf of the client. You will be responsible for the management of the underwriter payables process and payments in relation to Company and Placing Intermediary markets, including reconciliation of balances and payments to underwriters as well as the management of claims payable process and payments to claimants. You will also maintain the Insurance Broking Ledgers, to include reconciliations and settlements to insurers, agents and producers and take responsibility for regular Insurer and Market payments and on occasion company payment.

Candidates must have balance sheet accounting / reconciliation experience and knowledge of Insurance Broking accounting and be proactive in keeping knowledge up to date.
