Description
- Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables' data.
- Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and correctly posted.
- Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status.
- Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients' billing issues.
- Facilitate swift payment of invoices due to the organisation by sending bill reminders and contacting clients.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with clients.
- Follow up on, collect and allocate payments.
Profile
A successful Accounts Receivable should have:
- A degree in finance or accounting.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly in Excel.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations.
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
- Strong data entry skills and an eye for detail and accuracy.
- Hands-on in operating spreadsheets and accounting software (JDE or other full-scale ER software).
- Commutable to West London
