This is a renowned and award-winning civil engineering business based in central London. They are best known for their intelligent structural design work and practices across the industry.
They are looking to hire a proactive Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their growing finance department.
Role
Working within a high performing team, the Accounts Receivable Clerk will play a vital role in managing the sales and collections within the business. They will take on a number of key duties including:
- Issuing sales invoices per month, ensuring accuracy and alignment to contract terms
- Ensuring timely collection of receivables
- Hold monthly credit control meeting with managers to resolve any outstanding debt
- Perform reconciliations of all financial data
- Maintain accurate data through Xero and other in-house softwares
- Work with external debt collectors where necessary
- Preparation of ad hoc reports for various team leaders when necessary
- Continued utilisation and improvement of AR processes
- Continued development of project analysis to provide managers better insights
Profile
The ideal profile for this Accounts Receivable Assistant role, should have the following attributes:
- 6-12 months experience in a similar Accounts Receivable / Sales Ledger capacity.
- Experience in chasing/handling collections with various levels of customers.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Strong double entry knowledge.
- Confident with Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with Xero / CMAP would be advantageous.

£30,000 to £32,000 plus benefits including:
