They are looking to hire a proactive Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their growing finance department.

Role

Working within a high performing team, the Accounts Receivable Clerk will play a vital role in managing the sales and collections within the business. They will take on a number of key duties including:

  • Issuing sales invoices per month, ensuring accuracy and alignment to contract terms
  • Ensuring timely collection of receivables
  • Hold monthly credit control meeting with managers to resolve any outstanding debt
  • Perform reconciliations of all financial data
  • Maintain accurate data through Xero and other in-house softwares
  • Work with external debt collectors where necessary
  • Preparation of ad hoc reports for various team leaders when necessary
  • Continued utilisation and improvement of AR processes
  • Continued development of project analysis to provide managers better insights

Profile

The ideal profile for this Accounts Receivable Assistant role, should have the following attributes:

  • 6-12 months experience in a similar Accounts Receivable / Sales Ledger capacity.
  • Experience in chasing/handling collections with various levels of customers.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Strong double entry knowledge.
  • Confident with Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with Xero / CMAP would be advantageous.
