Kenny Recruit are working with an exciting manufacturing & distribution company in their search for an Accounts Receivable Clerk. As the Accounts Receivable Clerk you will be the only person looking after the AR side of the ledger for three entities, this is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of this side of the ledger. You will be responsible for collecting the company's debt, this is done via phone call as well as email, you will be raising the sales invoices and you will get the opportunity to help to automate processes.

This key role demands a high level of accuracy, the ability to work manually, experience of working in a stock based environment and with a focus on invoicing and debt chasing within a fast paced and growing sustainable company.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working in AR, someone who has worked with stock previously and if you have worked with NetSuite, this is a bonus.

Pay: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience) + benefits

Location: Central London (ideally 4 days in the office but would consider 3 for the right candidate).

Working hours: 9.00am - 5.30pm

Responsibilities:

  • Act as main point of contact for all customer accounts, maintaining relationships.
  • Creating new customer accounts, reviewing credit reports to recommend credit limits and payments terms.
  • Maintain customer ledgers, ensuring contact information is accurate.
  • Posting all sales invoices and credit notes and submitting to customers via post/email/EDI/portals.
  • Review and investigation of any unallocated cash, arranging refunds where necessary.
  • Being responsible for chasing outstanding payments.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of working within a stock based company
  • Previous experience of raising sales invoices
  • Previous experience of recovering debt
  • The ability to build relationships with clients
  • Experience of working in a manual environment
  • Exposure to automating processes
