This corporate law firm is one of the best firms in London. They attract clients that includes some of the worlds most successful businesses and well-known high net worth individuals. They currently have around 400 fee earning staff.

They are now looking to hire Junior Cashier, the Cashier team deal with client and office money and work collaboratively to ensure all the various cashiering tasks are completed. All tasks must be carried out within the scope of the Solicitors Accounts Rules.

Responsibilities

  • Investigating and allocating a high volume of funds received into office account to pay the firm’s invoices.
  • Reviewing third party matter-related invoices.
  • Inputting bank payments.
  • Transferring money between client and office account.
  • Reviewing purchase ledger invoices and expense requests.
  • Providing administrative support to return residual client account balances.
  • Ensuring any queries are dealt with promptly, escalated accordingly and clearly communicated to senior members of the team.

Candidate Profile

  • The successful candidate will be of A-Level standard or equivalent with an eagerness to learn and expand their experience within a position that encompasses finance, problem solving and customer service. The opportunity to study a further finance qualification will be available for the successful candidate, if interested.
  • They must be able to demonstrate high levels of determination and focus. They must possess the ability to follow instruction and be able to work and communicate with clients and colleagues at all levels.
  • It is essential that the candidate have an eye for detail and the ability to act positively, creatively and intuitively when presented with challenges. There is a high volume of work, and the job holder will be expected to work diligently and be able to prioritise their work whilst maintaining the highest of quality.
