Purchase Ledger Clerk
Salary: £30,000 - £36,000 per annum
Location: East London
I am seeking a dedicated Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our client team an established construction company in the East London area. This role involves processing invoices, handling queries, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and possess strong organisational and communication skills.
Day-to-day of the role:- Match invoices with delivery notes and process them accordingly.
- Handle and resolve any invoice or supplier queries efficiently.
- Ensure invoices are readily available for surveyors.
- Conduct supplier statement reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate records by filing all company correspondence and paperwork regularly.
- Archive and scan files and paperwork as per company procedures.
- AAT qualification or previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
- Exceptional customer service, attention to detail, and communication skills.
- Excellent organisational, planning, and prioritising skills.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel.
- Knowledge of Sage 200 and Sage Construct is advantageous.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in Purchase Ledger or Subcontract Ledger.
