Purchase Ledger Clerk

Salary £30,000 to £32,000 per annum (increase after completing probation)
Our client, a manufacturing business based in South London, are looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk for their accounts team. There is the chance for progression into a Head of AP role. The company is also currently going through a system implementation so you will get to be part of that process.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
- Purchase ledger - entering all supplier invoices and credit notes onto Sage.
- Processing expenses
- Credit card reconciliations
- Timesheet input and processing - chasing missing timesheets, update spreadsheets, prepare monthly payment runs.
- Assisting the team with PO queries and helping with any other areas of finance when required.
What the client is looking for:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Good Excel experience and ideally use of Sage
- Good time management skills
- Attention to details
- Previous experience assisting with payroll would be ideal
