What you will be doing:

  • Working with external providers to administer full cycle semi-monthly US payroll process
  • Working with external providers to administer fully cycle monthly UK, Hong Kong, Japan, Germany, and Switzerland payroll processes
  • Supporting with monthly, quarterly and annual payroll tax filings and year-end procedures in all locations
  • Preparing and reconciling general ledger and payroll accounts
  • Supporting with open enrolment in the US and benefits annual enrolment in the UK
  • Supporting with internal/external payroll audits
  • Providing world class candidate care through the onboarding process; liaising with candidate, candidate manager and Talent Acquisition team throughout the onboarding process
  • Proactively maintaining and administering accurate and timely HR data via the global HR System (UKG Pro)
  • Administering all aspects of the employee lifecycle from recruitment trough onboarding and offboarding
  • Providing administration support for HR colleagues including HR Business Partners, Learning & Development, Reward, Global Mobility, and Talent Acquisition teams
  • Processing of purchase orders and invoices in close collaboration with finance colleagues
  • Partnering with other areas of HR to provide necessary information in support of HR Processes and wider HR Projects
  • Liaising with employees to resolve queries related to HR procedures, processes, policies, payroll and benefits.

What we're looking for:

  • Experience in US payroll (required) and UK (optional)
  • Knowledge and experience of payroll and benefits processing
  • Knowledge of applicable US local, state and federal rules and laws would be an advantage
  • Customer Services Experience / Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in data input and validation
  • High level professionalism and respect for confidential information
  • Excellent attention to detail ensuring accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple, high priority tasks and adjust to shifting priorities while meeting deadlines
  • Excellent Excel and Word skills
  • High ethical standards, ability to work with discretion, and maintain the highly confidential nature of all human resources work
  • Teamwork
  • Experience with UKG, Greenhouse ATS and/or Activ

Professional qualifications / certifications

  • Payroll certification would be an advantage
