Robertson Bell is supporting this organisation in recruiting a Temporary Accounts Payable Officer for an initial 3-month contract. The head office is based in central London, operating on a hybrid working arrangement, with three days on site and two from home.
The Temporary Accounts Payable Officer’s responsibilities will include:
- Managing the invoice inbox, sorting and addressing supplier queries, including rejected invoices.
- Updating the financial system and ensuring accurate data entry.
- Investigating missing purchase orders and liaising with team members for resolution.
- Ensuring invoices are processed in time for month-end and year-end deadlines.
This is a great opportunity for someone with established AP experience who enjoys structured, repetitive tasks and thrives in a busy, high-volume environment.
The Temporary Accounts Payable Officer will be:
- Be confident in working independently while also knowing when to ask questions.
- Have strong administrative skills, with a good understanding of invoice processing, purchase orders, and tax codes.
- Experience with financial accounting softwares, however training can be provided.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
