Your new companyYour new job working as a Senior Binder Technician will be at a Lloyd's Broker that has operated in the London market for over thirty years. They have established themselves as a reputable Lloyd's broker, providing a wide range of services to both commercial and personal clients, specialising in areas such as professional lines, corporate risks, international insurance, healthcare, and speciality insurance. They offer a dynamic and supportive environment where your skills and career can thrive. Due to growth within the Technical team a permanent job for a Senior Binder Technician has arisen.Your new roleYour new job as a Senior Bonding Authority Technician, means you will be responsible for producing DUA/ Binder MRC Slips and be responsible for managing Binders/ Coverholder and relationships with Clients and Underwriters. In your new job, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently managing the administration of premium payments, statements, and bordereaux processing for new business and renewals, ensuring compliance with specific terms and conditions. You will maintain ongoing communication with colleagues, brokers, accounts, and other divisions to ensure seamless operations. You will handle complex issues from brokers and clients, providing expert solutions and escalating issues when appropriate. Additionally, you will be responsible for training and guiding junior team members, helping them develop their skills and ensuring they adhere to best practices.What you'll need to succeedYour previous experience working as a Binding Authority Technician will contribute to your success in securing this role. Ideally, you will have at least 5 years of experience within the London insurance market. You will have high level knowledge and understanding of Binding Authorities and possess strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to devise innovative solutions. You will have experience with the creation of MRC Binding Authorities, Line slips, Consortia slips and endorsements.
