Job Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Biomedical Support Worker to join our Cellular Pathology team. This is a hands-on role, offering the opportunity to support the laboratory in various essential tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Labelling specimens accurately and efficiently.
- Filing blocks and slides in accordance with established protocols.
- Assisting with send-out bench tasks, ensuring smooth workflow.
- Adhering to laboratory safety and cleanliness standards.
- Supporting the team with various ad-hoc tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Preferred: Previous experience in Cellular Pathology is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
