Job Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Biomedical Support Worker to join our Cellular Pathology team. This is a hands-on role, offering the opportunity to support the laboratory in various essential tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Labelling specimens accurately and efficiently.
  • Filing blocks and slides in accordance with established protocols.
  • Assisting with send-out bench tasks, ensuring smooth workflow.
  • Adhering to laboratory safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Supporting the team with various ad-hoc tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Preferred: Previous experience in Cellular Pathology is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
