We have partnered with a London Insurer to find them a Catastrophe Research Analyst. This is a highly technical role requiring a strong analytical background in Natural Sciences or Engineering. Key responsibilities include but are not limited too:

Collaborating with the R&D team and other stakeholders to ensure catastrophe risk is thoroughly understood, accurately measured, and effectively communicated across the business
Engaging in the development and evaluation of data sets and methodologies. Assessing and adjusting the catastrophe models as needed to improve accuracy and reliability
Actively participating in event response efforts, providing timely and actionable insights.
Tracking catastrophe events worldwide to support the Reserving and Claims teams with real-time analysis and insights.
