We have partnered with a London Insurer to find them a Catastrophe Research Analyst. This is a highly technical role requiring a strong analytical background in Natural Sciences or Engineering. Key responsibilities include but are not limited too:

  • Collaborating with the R&D team and other stakeholders to ensure catastrophe risk is thoroughly understood, accurately measured, and effectively communicated across the business
  • Engaging in the development and evaluation of data sets and methodologies. Assessing and adjusting the catastrophe models as needed to improve accuracy and reliability
  • Actively participating in event response efforts, providing timely and actionable insights.
  • Tracking catastrophe events worldwide to support the Reserving and Claims teams with real-time analysis and insights.
