As a Scientist - Assay Development you will be supporting a number of allocated clinical trials utilising your virology expertise to develop, optimise and validate a range of assays and related techniques.

Description

As a Scientist - Assay Development, based in London, you will:

  • Develop and validate a range of assays with focus on virology-based & cell-based methods (plaque assays, infection assays, flow cytometry etc)
  • Support with sample analysis and delivery of projects, communicating with clients and/or stakeholder to provide updates
  • Prepare and review documentation including study plans and completed reports
  • Support with writing and reviewing publications aligned to research objectives

As this is predominantly a lab-based position the role is fully on site (Mon-Fri)

Profile

To be successful in the role you will have:

  • PhD in Virology or relevant discipline
  • First-hand experience developing and validating assays in industry
  • In depth experience and knowledge of virology techniques mentioned above
  • An ability to work on multiple projects simultaneous, prioritising workload to deliver objectives in a collaborative environment
