Accounts Semi-Senior | Up to £35,000 | London

The Accounts Semi-Senior Role:

As an Accounts Semi-Senior, you will join a busy and collaborative Accounting team, providing a range of accounting services to a diverse client portfolio, including SMEs, sole traders, partnerships, and large corporates. Your key responsibilities will include:

* Preparation of statutory accounts, year-end accounts, and rental accounts for a variety of businesses.* Bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, and VAT returns using cloud-based software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage.* Preparing management accounts and financial reports to support client decision-making.* Liaising with clients and colleagues to ensure smooth workflow and compliance with deadlines.* Working with CCH software to produce accounts and maintain accurate records.

About You:* AAT qualified and/or currently studying ACCA.* A minimum of two years' experience in an accountancy practice.* Confident in accounts preparation, bookkeeping, and VAT returns.* Proficient in cloud-based accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) and CCH.* Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.* Highly motivated and organised, with excellent attention to detail.
