Bookkeeper

This role seeks a detail-oriented Bookkeeper with strong experience for maintaining financial records and processing transactions. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the Accounting & Finance department of a prominent architecture company.

Our client is a well-established player in the architecture industry, who are looking for a strong Bookkeeper on a part-time temporary basis to support during a busy period.

Description

• Maintain financial records for the company
• Process accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely and accurate record keeping.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Reconcile bank statements and conduct periodic audits.
• Coordinate with the finance team to prepare budgets and financial forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with standard accounting practices and company policies.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and financial audits.
• Provide support in financial decision-making through financial analysis and reporting.

Profile

A successful 'Bookkeeper' should have:

• 2 years+ experience working in a similar position.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures.
• Proficiency in using Xero and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and team leadership skills.

Job Offer

• An hourly rate of between £20-22 depending on experience.
