Reed is working with a leading events client to recruit a dedicated Bookkeeper who will be instrumental in managing and maintaining accurate financial records. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of the company’s financial activities.
Day-to-day of the role:- Keep precise records of all financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and receipts.
- Manage and execute accounts payable and receivable.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and verify the accuracy of ledgers.
- Help with payroll administration to ensure payments are made on time and accurately.
- Generate financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements, for management review.
- Aid in the development of budget and financial forecasts.
- Adhere to company policies and meet regulatory compliance requirements.
- Assist the Finance Manager during the month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Work collaboratively with the team to provide financial insights and ensure efficient financial operations.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive information.
- Demonstrated experience in a Bookkeeper role or similar accounting position.
- Skilled in QuickBooks, Xero and Excel.
- Knowledge of UK financial regulations and tax laws is advantageous.
- International experience across EMEA functions would be a bonus.
- ACCA/CIMA/AAT qualification or a degree in Accounting/Finance.
