My client is a well-established independent college located in central London, seeking a senior bookkeeper.
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of bookkeeping experience and proficiency in Sage 50 and Sage Payroll.
Key responsibilities include managing sales and purchase ledgers, payroll for approximately 38 employees, and handling statutory returns.
The position requires a detail-oriented individual and offers a salary that varies based on experience, qualifications, and training.
This role is expected to be in-office for 4 to 5 days a week.

Established in 1997 my client is a renowned independent college based in central London.

I am currently recruiting for a detail orientated, diligent senior bookkeeper to join their close team.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years boo keeping experience and must have excellent experience with sage 50 and sage payroll.

key responsibilities include:

SALES LEDGER - Sales Invoicing and Credit Control (Sage 50)
PURCHASE LEDGER - Purchase Invoices and Expense (inc. payments) (Sage 50)
Payroll (approx. 38 employees) - Sage payroll
Statutory Returns, ONS Data Returns, VAT Returns
Accounts preparation (for Accountants) and filing
Contract Renewals - Utilities, Equipment etc
Banking - Management of Cashflow, reconciliations and daily banking

- This role will be 4/5 days a week in office
