An SME Professional Services business with offices in South West London is looking to hire an experienced and hands-on Bookkeeper to join them on a permanent basis. This role is working 5 days per week in the office. Reporting to the Directors the Bookkeeper will:
Duties of the Bookkeeper Role:
- Oversee the company's transactional accounting duties including Accounts Payable, Receivables, and Credit Control
- Perform VAT returns and answer any VAT queries.
- Input and perform Payroll duties for 20 staff
- Produce any ad-hoc financial reports to help Directors make sound financial decisions
- Assist with any administration duties when required.
Requirements of the Bookkeeper Role:
- Excellent experience in transactional accounting
- Strong VAT knowledge
- Needs to be happy to help with administration tasks and work in an office 5 days per week
- Must possess strong communication skills.
