Company

This is a rapidly growing luxury yacht and retail business based in central London. They provide a wide range of services including charters, design & construction, luxury transport sales and more for high-net worth individuals internationally.

Due to consistent growth and investment, they are now looking to hire their first in-house Bookkeeper to join the team working closely with senior leadership.

Role

The Bookkeeper for this luxury yacht & retail business based in central London, will report directly into the COO/CEO managing the day-to-day bookkeeping and supporting on month-end reporting.

They will take on a variety of tasks including:

  • Manage accurate financial records, including Accounts Receivable and Payable processes.
  • Preparing and processing invoices on a regular basis.
  • Supporting and processing payroll accurately.
  • Reconciling bank transactions and statements, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.
  • Prepare financial statements and report, whilst monitoring cash flow.
  • Contribute to forecasting and budgeting processes.
  • Collaborate with the wider business to gather financial data.
  • Provide insights to support future decision-making.
  • Support on wider ad hoc projects.

Profile

The ideal profile for this Bookkeeper position based in central London, should have the following attributes:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar bookkeeping / accounting capacity.
  • Background within a small/mid-tier Accounting Practice would be ideal.
  • Strong exposure in transactional finance as well as supporting management accounting.
  • AAT studier or similar.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Confident with use of Excel.
