Robert Half Finance & Accounting are exclusively partnering with a well established global retail company based in the City of London. They are looking to recruit an experienced bookkeeper to join their team.

Role:

Our client is looking to recruit a Bookkeeper with experience on purchase ledger, sales ledger and sales ledger on a full time basis, in their London office. This role will be 5 days in the office in the Farringdon.

Key responsibilities include:

    • Posting daily incoming and outgoing payments
    • Ensuring the customer accounts are applied correctly (clear open items).
    • Manage and Maintain Customer and Vendor database.
    • Credit Control:
      • Manage customer debt collection and sending dunning letters as needed.
      • Sending customer statements and generate aging reports.
      • Liaising with the sales executive regarding customer accounts when required.
      • Monitor and review customer orders, payment history and approve credit terms extensions.
    • Monthly Bank Reconciliation
    • Verifying and post vendor invoices and credit card expenses.
    • Maintain vendor master data
    • Process monthly payment runs
    • Handle customer account queries.
    • Calculate Year End Bonus
    Provide support with administrative tasks as needed

Profile:

3 plus years in a transactional finance role covering all aspects of the general ledger including purchase ledger, sales ledger and treasury. This role will suit a candidate that is looking for a stable role with consistent responsibilities for the foreseeable future.

Salary & Benefits:

Salary - £30,000 - £35,000

Location - Farringdon (5 days a week in the office)

Annual Leave: 22 days + bank holiday (Increasing by 1 day each year of service)

Pension: 10% - non contributory .

Bonus: Discretionary
