We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Bookkeeper with experience using Xero and SAP, to join our client on a part-time basis for a 3-month contract. This role is based in the vibrant area of central Wimbledon and offers a fantastic opportunity for a professional looking to apply their accounting skills in a dynamic environment and support the business in their transition moving their accounts in-house.
Day-to-day of the role:- Maintain financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
- Manage bank feeds, reconcile bank accounts and prepare bank deposits.
- Process payroll and maintain employee records.
- Prepare financial reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising account information.
- Comply with legal requirements by studying requirements, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
- Handle monthly payroll using accounting software.
- Collaborate with our financial team to assist with financial planning and budget management.
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping practices and principles.
- Proficiency in Xero and SAP.Â
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Relevant certification or degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is preferred.
