Part-time Bookkeeper | 14-21 hours worked over 5 days | Arts Charity | £28-30k Full time equivalent salary | Permanent

We are recruiting a newly created part-time Bookkeeper position to join a growing non-profit organisation working within the arts sector. The position would be very flexible on hours from 14-21hrs but to be worked across 5 days in any way the candidate wishes. This would include 1 day at their Central London offices.

Responsibilities will include;

  • Processing all payments and monitoring bank accounts
  • Maintaining the finance email inboxes and escalate any queries
  • Ensuring accuracy of all transactions processed
  • Performing bank reconciliations and investigating unreconciled items
  • Uploading relevant payments and processing credit card transactions
  • Act as a key point of contact across the organisation to investigate and resolve outstanding balances
  • Coding and posting of all purchase and sales ledger transactions

The ideal candidate will;

  • Have experience of working in a financial function
  • Ideally have some experience or desire to work within the charity sector
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ambitious and willing to learn new skills
