Part-time Bookkeeper | 14-21 hours worked over 5 days | Arts Charity | £28-30k Full time equivalent salary | Permanent

We are recruiting a newly created part-time Bookkeeper position to join a growing non-profit organisation working within the arts sector. The position would be very flexible on hours from 14-21hrs but to be worked across 5 days in any way the candidate wishes. This would include 1 day at their Central London offices.

Responsibilities will include;

Processing all payments and monitoring bank accounts
Maintaining the finance email inboxes and escalate any queries
Ensuring accuracy of all transactions processed
Performing bank reconciliations and investigating unreconciled items
Uploading relevant payments and processing credit card transactions
Act as a key point of contact across the organisation to investigate and resolve outstanding balances
Coding and posting of all purchase and sales ledger transactions

The ideal candidate will;

Have experience of working in a financial function
Ideally have some experience or desire to work within the charity sector
Excellent attention to detail
Strong communication skills
Ambitious and willing to learn new skills
