NEW ROLE: PR Account Directors with INTEGRATED CONSUMER PR experience

The opportunity

This role is perfect for an established Account Director  or Senior Account Director from a PR/earned background that has worked on big, complex consumer accounts. You'll understand how to navigate multiple workstreams for one client and speak the language of in-house comms leads, brand managers & marketing managers. What's cool about this position as that you'll be working on main account - A leading drinks brand - so you'll really get to immerse yourself into this one client. The work will be predominantly gen Z, music, gaming, culture focused so experience and *most importantly* interest in these areas is critical. The company you'll be joining is truly brilliant - think tight-knit team, annual company trips, early finish Fridays all-year round, flexi-hours and all around a generally inspiring, culturally tapped-in group of people.

What will I be doing?

This is a really important hire for the agency as you will be leading one of its most profitable accounts working a massive integrated project. The focus of your role is to lead on the launch of a big brand initiative, alongside global marketing and ad agencies. Given the size of this account, you will have your own dedicated team and will be responsible for directing the team and keeping in close contact with the client. This role will likely involve some travelr. You will need to be an excellent project manager but equally be someone with their finger on the pulse when is comes to Gen Z and Youth Culture. As this is an earned-first role, the Account Director or Senior Account Director will need to understand how to deliver campaigns that get significant media cut-through.

Who do I want to hear from?

  • Account Directors/ Senior Account Directors from PR agency backgrounds - sorry no Senior Account Managers stepping up
  • Demonstrable integrated experience across, sponsorship, partnerships, talent relations, events and traditional PR
  • Evidence of having worked on global brand campaigns
  • People into culture (GenZ, music, gaming, what's trending)
