Role Overview:
As a bicycle and scooter Asset Recovery Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to locate and recover missing e-bicycles and scooters. You'll work closely with your operational coordinator and team members to ensure the safe return of these vehicles.
Hourly pay: £14.15
Shift:
Currently, there are two shift patterns in place: Sunday-Thursday and Tuesday-Saturday. This role may involve irregular hours, especially during peak theft times or emergency situations. Training on vehicle identification, mechanic maintenance, and safety protocols will be provided.
Primary job functions:
Search and Recovery: Use your skills to search for missing bicycles and scooters in various locations, including high-risk areas, water bodies, private properties, and parks. Mark found for retrieval on your app and communications channels when vehicles are located and secure wheels to ensure the safety of the vehicle.
Mark missing vehicles on our app and other communication channels when you are unable to locate.
Document the location, condition, and any damages to the recovered vehicles. Decay Prevention and Damage Assessment: Regularly inspect abandoned or lost bicycles and scooters to prevent further decay or damage.
Report any vandalism, theft, or suspicious activity related to these vehicles.
Coordinate efforts with other recovery specialists and share information about missing vehicles. You will be required to work all over the various boroughs of London that are encapsulated within our vehicle service zones.
Qualifications:
? Previous mechanical experience IS required. 6 months minimum
? Proficient cyclist with knowledge of local streets, bike paths, and scooter hotspots. Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
? Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Familiarity with basic bike and scooter maintenance.
? Excellent communication skills to interact with public and work colleagues.
